Voguard

In Tyrinese mythology, the Voguards were sexless guardians of the inner depths of Vogmal's gigantic library. They were trained in close combat as well as ranged combat with their spear. Usually, humans and creatures are never granted access to the library, much less the inner, underground floors of it. Even if they were somehow able to get through the Voglings, whether by force or by permission, no creature except Vogmal and a few of his associates were allowed in the inner floors. Trespassers that attempted to reach these secret levels would stand no chance against the Voguards. Their spears are forged in such strong materials unbeknownst to man that nothing except the materials themselves can break the weapon - such as only diamond able to cut diamond. If force is not ordered to stop trespassers by Vogmal, then Voguards will use their gorgeous glowing ribbons that constantly wave in the air (even if there is no wind) to hypnotize creatures into leaving and losing their memory. Once they have left the library, they are usually escorted back to their assumed home by a Voclyt.
